Fort Erie, Ontario –January 19, 2005 –Mike Scott, President & CEO of PBB Global Logistics, today announced that Robert (Bob) J. Armstrong will join the company on March 1 as Senior Vice President, Government Affairs. The appointment reflects the continuing demand for PBB’s trade and regulatory expertise, involving both policy development and supply chain execution.

A Certified International Trade Professional (C.I.T.P.), Mr. Armstrong has been a very prominent member of the North American trade community for many years, having headed the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters Inc. (I.E. Canada) since 1997. He has also been heavily involved in automotive trade issues, serving as president of the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers of Canada.”

“ We are very excited to welcome Bob Armstrong to our executive team,”said Mr. Scott. “He will be a strong force in advocating the international trade issues that impact PBB’s clients to the highest levels of government and industry.”

In addition to leading the company’s governmental affairs program, Mr. Armstrong will work with PBB’s Trade & Regulatory Services group, which consults clients on trade compliance and supply chain security initiatives. Increasingly, these concerns are adding considerable complexity and risk to international logistics, highlighting the growing market demand for trade expertise.

“Having had the opportunity to partner with PBB on many occasions, including through its trade mission initiatives in China, I am impressed by the expertise of its people and their success in facilitating trade and supply chain strategies on behalf of customers,”said Mr. Armstrong. “I look forward to helping advance our clients’import and export strategies and to strengthening the communication between our stakeholders in government and industry.”

Throughout his tenure at I.E. Canada, and as a board member of the Border Trade Alliance (BTA), Mr. Armstrong has been a strong proponent of North American trade facilitation, taking particular interest in issues that affect the movement of goods across the U.S., Canadian and Mexican borders.

In addition, Mr. Armstrong is involved with numerous international trade organizations, business associations and government advisory committees, including the Trade Facilitation Office of Canada, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, the Forum for International Trade Training and the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association.
