Global Logistics Appoints Ken Chalmers
as President and Chief Executive Officer

Global Logistics, a leading third-party
logistics provider, is pleased to announce
the appointment of Ken Chalmers as President
and Chief Executive Officer following
the retirement of Mike Scott. Mr. Chalmers
will lead PBB as the company continues
a period of unprecedented growth and
success.
Mr.
Chalmers has been involved with PBB for over
20 years, initially serving as legal advisor
for the company. He joined PBB’s executive
team in 2002 and has served on the Board
since the time of the company’s initial
public offering (IPO). Most recently, Mr.
Chalmers held the position of PBB’s
Chief Operating Officer and was responsible
for working with PBB’s operating divisions
to improve processes, integrate services
and improve margins. As well, Mr. Chalmers
has played a key role in the company’s
plans for strategic growth through acquisitions
including the successful acquisitions of
Clarke Logistics, Unicity Integrated Logistics,
Unicity Customs Services and Carrier Connection
International.
In
making the announcement, Ken Wong, Chair
of the Board, thanked Mr. Scott “for
his outstanding 25 year contribution to PBB”and
for his commitment to the logistics industry.
Mr. Wong said that Mr. Chalmers’appointment
is an exciting step as PBB continues to evolve
as a world-class logistics leader.

and development. With Mr. Scott’s retirement,
the Board has decided that the time is right
for change. Mr. Chalmers is the best person
to lead the company into the future and to
optimize our considerable competitive advantages,”said
Mr. Wong.
In
accepting the appointment, Mr. Chalmers said, “I
am delighted to accept this position because
PBB has such a strong history of success
in the industry, and that has been strengthened
even further by our recent acquisitions.
We are now a much larger company. My
role will be to direct and encourage change
within the context of PBB’s proven
and well-established business model.”
Mr.
Chalmers has an LL.M. (Alternative Dispute
Resolution) from Osgoode Hall law school.
Prior to joining PBB Global Logistics, Mr.
Chalmers was counsel with the law firm of
Miller Thomson LLP. Previously,
he was a partner in the law firms of Crossley
Mann and Holden Day Wilson.
