Global Logistics Executive Appointments
Enhance Integrated Logistics Strategy
Fort Erie,
Ontario –December 6, 2004 –Mike
Scott, President and CEO of PBB Global
Logistics, has announced the appointment
of two chief officers along with three
divisional presidents positions. The move –in
direct response to PBB’s recent growth
and its strategic expansion plans –strengthens
the company’s executive management
team and establishes three primary interrelated
operational business units: International
Logistics, North American Transportation
and Customs & Trade Operations.

We are very excited to solidify and strengthen
our senior management group to complement
the recent growth of our international third-party
supply chain services,”said Mr. Scott. “Ultimately,
this will reinforce our focus on providing
integrated logistics solutions for the benefit
of our global customer base.”
Four of the five appointments involve PBB
veterans currently serving as vice-presidents:
John Ferguson, Guy D’Addario, Gary
Vince and Mark Lidkea. The fifth, Doug Payne,
joins the management team from Clarke Logistics,
where he served as president prior to its
acquisition by PBB earlier this year.
John Ferguson,
Chief Marketing Officer, now leads all
corporate sales and marketing functions including
global branding, strategic marketing and
business development. He has held several
senior-level sales and marketing positions
throughout his 17-year tenure at PBB and
was responsible for spearheading the re-branding
of PBB Global Logistics from Peace Bridge
Brokerage. His efforts in this regard have
been recognized by the Transportation Marketing & Communications
Association, with 11 awards in the past four
years. Mr. Ferguson is a Certified Canadian
Customs Specialist.
Guy D'Addario,
Chief Information Officer, joined PBB
Global Logistics in 1991, and has been instrumental
in developing the automated systems and software
for PBB's Customs Brokerage segment. He also
spearheads the ongoing development of the
company’s Global Logistics Technologies
systems, offering a range of web-enabled
supply chain management tools to customers.
As CIO he is responsible for corporate strategy
as it relates to technology, with an emphasis
on process improvements.
Gary Vince, President,
International Logistics Operations, has
more than 20 years of extensive logistics
experience with several multinational logistics
providers. He has diversified expertise in
the areas of project cargo, air and ocean
freight, warehousing and distribution, the
key segments of PBB’s international
logistics division. Mr. Vince is a member
of several professional associations and
possesses his P.Log accreditation.
Mark Lidkea,
President, Customs & Trade Operations, joined
PBB in 1985. He oversees strategic development
and operating units of PBB’s North
American Customs & Trade services. Mr.
Lidkea has been an integral part of PBB’s
recent expansion efforts and was instrumental
in the creation of Purolator Trade Solutions –a
joint venture between PBB and Purolator Courier
Ltd. of which he is a member of the board
of directors. He is a Licensed Professional
Canadian Customs Broker and a Certified Canadian
Customs Specialist.
Doug Payne, President,
North American Transportation Operations, joins
PBB from Clarke Logistics, where he served
as president prior to its acquisition. He
brings more than 20 years of executive experience
in trucking and intermodal transportation.
He assumes responsibility for PBB’s
North American Transportation segment, which
encompasses transportation management, LTL
and FTL highway transportation and intermodal
services across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
