Erie, Ontario - July 23, 2003 –Mike
Scott, President and CEO of PBB Global
Logistics, has announced a change to
the company’s management team.
Four Vice Presidents have been appointed
to ensure the company’s continued
position as a leading provider of third-party
international logistics services. The
appointments became effective June
16, 2003.

today’s demanding business landscape,
there is a constant need for companies to plan
for the future,”said Scott. “This
strong leadership group will focus on further
development of PBB’s core business initiatives
and ensure a seamless integration of company-wide
goals and directives, which will ultimately
benefit our customers.”
John
Ferguson, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, joined
PBB in 1987 and has held several senior-level
sales and marketing positions throughout
his 15-year tenure. He was responsible
for spearheading the re-branding of PBB
Global Logistics from Peace Bridge Brokerage.
In addition, Mr. Ferguson was a leading
force behind PBB's groundbreaking China
Trade Mission, the first privately run
trade mission of its kind. He most recently
held the position of Director, Sales & Marketing.
Mr. Ferguson has had a pivotal role in
developing many of the company’s
innovative sales and marketing strategies,
which have resulted in PBB receiving
Transportation Marketing and Communication
Association’s (TMCA) prestigious “Tranny”Awards
for three consecutive years. His efforts
have also been recognized with the esteemed
Ontario Global Traders Award and this
year’s Supply Chain & Logistics
Canada (SCL) Innovation Award. Mr. Ferguson
holds a degree in business and economics,
is a Certified Canadian Customs Specialist
and is also a graduate of the Wilfrid
Laurier University’s Supply Chain
Management Executive Program.

Mark
Lidkea, Vice President, Customs Operations,
joined PBB in 1985. He has been an integral
part of PBB’s aggressive expansion
efforts that have resulted in a strategic
network of logistics centres in Calgary,
AB; Seattle, WA and Vancouver, BC. Most
recently, Mr. Lidkea served as Director,
Western Operations with PBB and was instrumental
in the creation of Purolator Trade Solutions –a
joint venture between PBB Global Logistics,
Inc. and Purolator Courier Ltd. Mr. Lidkea
now serves as an officer of this new
company. He is a Licensed Professional
Canadian Customs Broker and a Certified
Canadian Customs Specialist. He is also
a graduate of the Wilfrid Laurier University’s
Supply Chain Management Executive Program
and an executive board member with the
Air Courier Conference of America (International
Committee).
Joe
Morinello, Vice President, Finance & Administration,
began his career in PBB’s Accounting
Department in 1986 and has held several
senior level accounting positions within
the organization. He was instrumental
in standardizing several policies and
procedures including the successful implementation
of new in-house financial systems that
have resulted in increased efficiencies
for PBB. He also played an integral role
in the opening of PBB’s Calgary,
AB; Toronto, ON and Vancouver, BC distribution
facilities. Mr. Morinello earned his
Certified Management Accounting designation
in 1992. He most recently held the position
of Director, Accounting Canadian Operations.
Gary
Vince, Vice President, Logistics Operations,
has more than 20 years of extensive logistics
experience with several multi-national
logistics providers. He has diversified
expertise in the areas of project cargo,
air and ocean freight, warehousing and
distribution, and developing North American
shipping networks. Mr. Vince joined PBB
in 1998 and has since developed various
North American e-business and regulatory
strategies related to international freight.
He has developed and implemented key
corporate goals, objectives, processes
and business strategies while continuing
to establish key business relationships
with global agents.
Mr. Vince is a member of several professional
associations and has attained his P.Log accreditation.
