ACI Delay

Phase 2 of Advanced Commercial Information (ACI) has been delayed from May 9, 2005 until December 5, 2005.
Requirements of Phase 2 have changed from what was previously announced. Phase 2 will no longer include electronic transmission of cargo and conveyance data from rail carriers. This will be deferred into Phase 3 of ACI.

Phase 2 now includes:
- Electronic Transmission of cargo and conveyance for all air mode shipments
- Removal of ACI exemption for marine shipments loaded in the U.S.
